Galvanised Ducts
While offering durability and quality together, we do not compromise on aesthetics.
Fabric ducting can be hard to wrap your head around. It may be new to Southeast Asia, but elsewhere in the world, textile duct systems are recognized as the next big step in indoor heating, cooling and ventilation technology.
What is fabric ductwork?
Textile ducts are air distribution ducts made of specially designed textile materials. They are designed to distribute cool, heated or ventilated air in any building, regardless of size, and can be customised to meet a wide range of airflow, air velocity and air change rates. Heated, cooled or ventilated air flows through the duct and exits evenly through the porous surface of the fabric material. Cool air flows down through the entire surface area of the duct and naturally collects in the occupied zone of an indoor space, creating an optimum indoor climate free of both drafts and dead zones.
What are the benefits of textile ducts?
textile ducts eliminate drafts and dead zones by distributing air evenly within an enclosed space. Textile ducts heat, cool and ventilate more efficiently than traditional HVAC solutions, resulting in significant energy savings. They are made of non-corrosive, fire-resistant and permeable non-organic polyester materials that eliminate condensation formation and prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. The lightweight textile materials reduce stress on ceilings and structural supports while quickly speeding up installation times. Textile ducting is also incredibly easy to remove, clean and reinstall, promoting a more hygienic indoor environment. They can be customised by shape, colour, size and air distribution system and offer a bespoke solution to any architectural, engineering or HVAC design challenge. - Noise reduction
- Mould, drip and condensation free
- Healthy, hygienic indoor climate
- Happier, more productive staff
Are textile ducts resistant to mould and mildew?
Yes, textile ducts are made of permeable non-organic polyester materials that prevent condensation from forming on the surface of our ducts. Hydrophobic surfaces prevent the growth of mould, bacteria and other harmful substances at relative humidities below 85% RH.
Are textile ducts flame retardant?
Yes, textile ducts are manufactured from heat resistant and flame retardant materials. They are highly flexible even in environments with extreme indoor air temperatures. Our fabrics are particularly well adapted to high temperatures and can continue to perform optimally between -45°C and 100°C.
Are textile ducts non-corrosive?
Yes, the air distribution ducts are made of specially designed textiles and are therefore resistant to corrosion and rust.
How do textile ducts improve health and hygiene?
The entire surface area of a textile duct acts as a large diffuser, ensuring a high air exchange rate without creating drafts or dead zones. This provides an evenly ventilated indoor environment while eliminating the need for central vents that are easily contaminated with harmful bacteria, germs and mould. In contrast, our textile ducts are made from permeable materials and are condensation-free, completely preventing potentially harmful bacteria from forming. In addition, textile ducts are extremely easy to remove, clean and reinstall, allowing for regular wash cycles and promoting a more hygienic working environment. textile ducts also eliminate the annoying ambient noises produced by the vibration of metal components in traditional HVAC systems, resulting in a happier, more productive workplace.
